I am interested in XML mediation and the use of ontlogies to link
similar but different element names in XML schema. Am I correct in my
understanding that an onltology is a language or set of commands that
is agreed upon thus making mediation between XML element names
uneccesary. Also is this the best method of mediation between XML
files.

i want to create a web form where someone can do some input or pick
strings from select boxes. after that the person can click a preview
button and a website will be generated dynamically. so i thought i
should use typo3. first of all i created a html-template. then a page
tree with all the sites that could possibly appear. in the end only the

I have an application need export ane import data of projects. There are
about 10 database tables releated to one project. 3 of them each could have
up to 100K lines data.
I can export all data out into a xml file and then zip it. When I do import,
I parse this xml file and then insert into database myself.
Or I can export all tables out in csv format and then use mysql's client
command "load local file" (which is claimed very fast...

does anyone of you guys use Typo3?
I simply do not understand that there is no LZW GIF compression possible
in the GD dll shipped with PHP 5.2.2 (win32).
I assumed this DLL is newer than GDLib 2.0.33 but obviously I was wrong.
Typo3 detects the compression used as RLE, not LZW.
I know there were legal reasons in the past; but they did reimplement
