I have 100 tabes in an Access database, every table has 1 filed with
100 names (records), no primary key assigned. I would like to find
duplicates.
Here is the criteria:
The computer should pick up the first name of Table1 and check that
name in that table (Table1) as well as the remaining 99 tables.
Continue this till we reach the last name (record) of the 100th table.

I'm stuck with an XPath query to produce a TreeView.
From the data below, I want to select all the score elements having an IdIn
of 2018, ***including their ancestors***.
With the result, I want to fill a TreeView control.
This is my simplified data:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

Hi all,
I'm wondering if there is a function that will return the xpath to a
specific node given its context node. Essentially, I want the reverse
of the document.evaluate functionality. I've seen examples where
people build up the xpath themselves by walking the DOM, but I thought
there has to be a better way. I've included a simple example of this,
based on code from the Solvent project at MIT. This code works
reasonably well, but...

Are there any quick, reliable shortcuts to determine if two arbitrary
XPath expressions yield result sets that intersect?
The obviously way would be to iterate over the set of nodes from one
expression, checking each one to see if it's also contained in the
other set, but I'm wondering if there might be ways of doing this by
looking at or rewriting the actual XPath expressions themselves,
without evaluating them.

Hi
I was wondering if we can use Xpath query for finding nodes that ends with a 'string' value entered by the user. For example we can use the following query for finding the nodes that starts with a string
XmlNodeList nodeList = xmlDoc.SelectNodes("//Country");
When I tried replacing 'starts -with' with 'ends- with' in the above query, it showed the error below
Namespace Manager or XsltContext needed. This query has a prefix,...

I'm trying to figure out a way to find if there are duplicates in an array. My idea was to take the array as 'a' and make a second array as 'b' and remove the duplicates from 'b' using 'set' and then compare a to b. If they're different then it will print out 'duplicates found'. The problem is that even after trying different arrays, some with duplicates some without, that 'b' rearranges the numbers. Here's an example:
a='1934, 2311,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
