Hi.
I want to be able to create a persistent connection between an XML-RPC
client and server... i.e. I want to be able to login once, carry
out a number of calls and then logout rather than send login info for
every call.
Is there a way to do this with the xml-rpc code in the standard library?
Thanks in advance

I want to enable the user to define parts of their user interface. I
am developing an application that does some accounting functions
(basicly the end user enters revenues for each account, and users will
frequently enter data in several accounts that I want visible based
upon the company).
Anyways, not that the brief description I just gave you will help, but
any ideas on how to dynamicly populate controls on a winform?? What
would...

Is it possible to dynamically create and populate properties? Below is
my class. I would like to define properties for each of the items in my
two arrays without actually defining each one. (There are over 100 in
total). I would to have them set up the same as i have "form_id" below,
but im not sure what the syntax to do it is (without actually typing
each one).
' declare form_id
private form_id

I generate a DHTML page (a medical report) with dynamically generated text
based on user input (answers to questions). The page length changes
dynamically. I desire that when the page is printed and reaches a specific
length, it terminates printing that page, prints a page number, and then
begins to print the next page using the same header and format as the
previous page. The page uses no tables or paragraph elements, only CSS.
IOW, I...

Hello all,
I feel dumb having to ask this question in the first place, but I just
can not figure it out. I am wanting to set my site up using dynamic
urls (I'm assuming that's what they're called, an example of what I
have in mind is index.php?page=). However, I can not figure
out how to do this. I will eventually want to use SEF urls, but for now
I'll be content just to have the dynamic urls. If anyone can tell me
how to do this, I'd...

Hello all,
I'm wanting to know which method I should use to fetch dynamic XML data.
Is it better to use web services or to fetch the data from a dynamic XML file?
Either, use a webMethod to return a byte array of the XML data,
or use an ASP page that generates the XML data.
Any input would be great, thanks!

I may be involved in a data migration project involving databases and
creating XML feeds. Our site is PHP based, so I imagine the team might
suggest PHP, but I had a look at the PHP documentation for one of the
Pear modules for creating XML and it didn't look like much. I've used
Perl XML:Twig and I have the impression that there is more Perl stuff
available as well as the Perl stuff being well documented as I have a
Perl DBI book, a Perl...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.

Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
