I'd like to make my résumé available in several different formats.
Someone in another news group suggested that the res class of LaTex
would help produce a good layout, but I don't know whether the tools
for converting it to, e.g., HTML are good. One of the options that I
have considered is to do it in XML and use XSLT to transform it into
HTML and into res. I don't want to reinvent the wheel, so I'd like to
know whether anyone has done something similar. Thanks for whatever
information you can supply.

There is at least one project: http://xmlresume.sourceforge.net/
Can't tell whether there is res/LaTex support.

Dear list,
I am writing a manual for my python extension using Python (2.4) latex
classes. Everything seems to be fine except that the subscripts are as
big as normal text ( see page 55 of
http://bp6.stat.rice.edu:8080/simuPOP_doc/userGuide.pdf ). I doubt that
the following piece of code in python.sty is causing the problem but can
not fix it. (I get errors when commenting out this block of code.) Does
anyone know what is happening here?

I need a very, very minimal LaTeX system on Windows. I only need to
have the possibility to get DVI files out of my tex files (with minimal
fonts). An I need it without any installer (no settings in registry and
no or less enviroment variables).
I know this was asked a few time here but I haven't found any suitable
information yet. I posted some time ago under "minimal latex for
windows"...

Hi,
I'm an Austrian writer living in Montpezat (South France), and I'm currently
busy converting some of my writings from LaTeX to HTML to publish them on
the Internet.
The novel I'm working on has two different first-person narrators, formally
distinguished by the use of italics. One of them (Violetta) only appears in
italics, the other one (Victor) in normal fonts. This is a formal help for
the reader to distinguish the two...

Hi All,
Does anyone have a good template that I might use for writing a python
paper in latex/bibtex? I've got the paper mostly done, but am having
issues with the references. I am definitely not an expert at
latex/bibtex. Right now, I have references defined like this:
@article{imp,
title = {imp -- Access the import internals},
journal = "http://www.python.org/doc/current/lib/module-imp.html",

> Anyone parsing simple LaTeX constructs with pyparsing?
Greetings Tim,
Have always wanted a way to parse LaTeX myself.
Unfortunately, I have been moved to a different project.
However, I am still very much interested.
Did you ever get a reply?

Hello,
first of all:
Is this the right place to ask plastek-related
questions?
I'm trying to make plastex work on my Ubuntu Dapper
Drake. For LaTeX, I have the all-in-one package
tetex.

I need some help with LaTex and processing images in LaTex. I realise that this is a C/C++ forum, but I was thinking that perhaps there are a some people who are interested in LaTex, have written documents using LaTex and might want to help me with my problem.
If there are such people among you, please give me a sign. Any help appreciated, links to good LaTex forums most appreciated.
Thanks,
Adina

Basically, it should do all that any of the tools below and in
addition,
1/
human readable output that maintains the text lines of the source, ie
does not scramble the text lines or insert newlines unnecessarily or
removes them. inserts minimal latex elements.
2/
maintains cross-links, ie convert <href to \ref and <name= to \label

I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
