accesing of controls in modal popup via code behind

the problem i m facing is that when in try to access the textBox(txtE1), and want to use the value of txtE1 outside the modal popup so i put the code tin the onclick event of the OKButton.

but when i click the OKbotton,the method corresponding to it is not fired and the method i hve written in code behind(C#) code.

can anybody help me how to do this?

i hv tried so many ways?

plz suggest me some way to do it

I'm not a JavaScript expert, or have much experience with it, but don't you have to say Function Ensurenumberic( ) ? Also, you have misspelled the Script Language, which should be like "text\javascrip t", right?

I don't quite understand your question but try changing the above and see if all works better :D
