I have installed the Visual Studio 2003 FULL With MSDN (ORIGINAL NOT
CRACKED :), Office 2003PRO FULL.
After installing Office i have insatlled the MSDE form OFFICE CD, IIS
is installed.

workbook, sheet. I've chased down several examples and can't any of them to
work. So I must be doing somethnig obviouslt wrong.
Most examples to get things started include something:

I recently upgraded from Visual Studio .NET 2003 to Visual Studio .NET 2005.
I have several projects that I created in Visual Studio .NET 2003, but when
I try to open them in Visual Studio .NET 2005 it tries to force me to
convert them. for some of these it would be fine, but some of them run on
servers that do not support .NET 2.0 yet, I simply want to edit the code

I am trying to create a DLL in Visual Studio 2005-Visual Basic that contains
custom functions. I believe I need to use COM interop to allow VBA code in
Excel 2002 to access it. I've studied everything I can find on COM Interop
and .NET. I've also tried many of the 'Walkthroughs' on the MSDN site

I have several Excel files which I need to import into a SQL server. I open each file using
string connectionString = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;" +
"Data Source = " + fileName + ";Extended Properties=\"Excel 8.0;HDR=No\"";
OleDbConnection conn = new OleDbConnection(connectionString);
conn.Open();
This works for a lot of the files, but apparently some of the files, it can't open throw'ing the following exception:

Hi all,
I am experiencing a strange thing happening with a "designer.vb" page. Controls I manually declare in this page are automatically deleted after I drop another control on a ".aspx" page.
- Why is this happening?
- Can I disable automatic declaration and have everything be declared manually?
- Any other options to fix this?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
