Title: What are the Consequences of Aspx page separate from app DLL
Hi JL;
I am working on a big asp.net application.
When we migrate the dll (or dlls) to the production server, all users
who are login into the application are pumped off. In fact we must
close down the server (to preserve users from being logged on and
thinking they are updating data when it is in fact lost when we move
the dlls to the the applications bin directory)....

Hi folks!
I'am trying to figure out a way on how to keep my scolling position of the
page AND all of it's scrollable divs during postbacks.
Sadly it seems that div-scrolling can only be done in conjunction with
absolute positioning of the divs which is definitely not what I want. But
when using iframes i get multiple aspx-pages and i don't have a clue how to
handle events that occur on the page in the iframe on my mainpage.

I have several ASPX pages (with code-behind logic) that I reuse amongst many
Web sites on the same production server. Currently each Web site has its own
copy of these aspx pages. I was thinking that it might be a good idea to
move these common aspx pages to a new folder and then make them accessible
via a new virtual directory in each Web site. Is this a good idea? Bad idea?
Thoughts, opinions?

I have a website that currently has all static htm pages and nothing will be
dynamic for quite some time. This site is made up of a bunch of htm pages.
is there any advantage or disadvantage of converting them to aspx pages? We
are using VS 2005 and .net 2.0.

I have a new 2.0 app with Master page and content pages. Looks great in
I.E.
When viewing in firefox the content pages render too high and the content
overlaps the content in the top portion of the master page.
Is there a reason/solution for this?

Using VBC, I compiled a VB class file into a DLL named MyPro.dll. The
namespace used in this class file is 'MyPro' & the public class is
named 'MyClass'. This is the ASPX page which imports the namespace &
instantiates the class 'MyClass' so that the ASPX code can invoke the
different functions existing within the class 'MyClass':

Hello,
I have a web application written in asp, which l have recently updated
by adding pages written in aspx to it. The start up page of the
application is in asp (index.asp). This page not nothing except
redirect the user to another page within in aspx (index.aspx).
When the user navigates away from this page to other pages and tries to
return to index.aspx using the back button in Internet Explorer, the
url is displayed correctly...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
