Hi
I am trying to create a MS Excel format CSV but I can't figure out how
to get the line feed/carriage return/new record working properly.
I am nding each line/record with these characters: "\r\n" but the
Excel file just loads all the field in one row as if it doesn't
recognise these characters.
These are the headers I am using to create the file:

Our ASP.NET app produces a page in excel format using
Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel"
Response.Write(strExcel)
(where strExcel is a tab and carriage return delimited
string)
When this page is sent to the browser (IE6SP1), the excel
active X control opens up within IE6. Then if you do a
File|Save As, you can save the file locally.

Hi,
I've a routine that exports a DB query to Excel by building an
XmlDocument and saving to a XmlTextWriter. I'm having trouble with
carriage returns in a mailing address not showing up in the final Excel
sheet.
What's added to the InnerText of an XmlDocument is something similar

Periodically, the same or similar question appears in our Access Forum: How can I use Excel Functions within Access? For this reason, I decided to make this Subject TheScripts Tip of the Week. In order to demonstrate the use of Excel Functions within the context of Access, I performed the following steps in sequence:
Created a Public Function called fStripNonPrintableCharacters() which will encapsulate the logic for executing the Excel...

I have searched the web forums, and can't seem to find an answer to this particular problem I have.
In an excel sheet, cells in one column have formatted text in the "wrapped" cells. For many of the cells it is far more than 256 char.
After import to Access, the carriage return (CR) and Line Feed (LF) is shown with a square symbol in the text, and the text is just "dumped" into the field without CR or LF. Have also tried to indentify the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
