Some time ago I installed VC# 2003, made a small generic project, compile
with the allow unsafe flag and I get the error below:
"error CS1577: Assembly generation failed -- Unexpected exception
processing attribute -- System.ArgumentException: Invalid directory on URL."
(If I do not compile with the unsafe flag compiler setting all compiles
perfect)
After long tracing, I ended up discovering that it is csc.exe installed by

Wel, I am rebuilding the VC# 2002 project that I have deployment problems
with the 2003 version, hoping this solves the problems, but now I encounter
this wierd bug???
If I have the project, and do not compile with "Allow Unsafe Code
Blocks=false" set to true, then the project compiles and no problems.
BUT if I compile with "Allow Unsafe Code Blocks=true" then I het the error
below. With unsafe {} of unsave{} removed it dos not solve the...

I get the following error when i try to link a fortran library to a c++ code
in .NET 2005.
LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libc.lib'
the code was working fine when built using .NET2003.
also, when I do not try to link the fortran library (just to see if that was
the cause), it builds the exe without any problems.
i don't even know how to begin addressing this problem...any help would be

Error was 'Property accessor 'SubCategoryId' on object 'yyy.zzz' threw the
following exception: 'Object reference not set to an instance of an
object.'' after porting my code from V1.1 to V2.0.
The class yyy is a class that has nothing in it except a contructor and is
derived from a MyGeneration generated class of a View in my SQL database.

I'm writing a control which contains a collection of Column objects
which needs to be written to InitializeComponent() by the designer.
I've created a collection object (ColumnCollection) derived from
CollectionBase which contains Column objects. The Column object has

I was watching a video that used a code snippet to create a property and
when you type "prop" tab tab, it would create the private variable as well
as the property definitions with the private variable in it. When you
changed the private variable it would also change the variables in the
Property definition.
But when I do it, I only get the property definition but no variables in it:

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
