Hi again,
I'd like to rename a page of a notebook. Deleting the page and adding a new
one is not really an option, because the page is filled with other controls
already. So I looked into Pmw.Notebook. There are quite a few lists and
dicts which were to be changed and I wasn't successful in the first try.
However, if nobody has ever done this, I'd have to rebuild the whole page
after deleting/adding. I really hope there's an other way...

I have been at odds with our network guy over an application that is designed
to send alert emails to accounts outside of our domain to users. The issue is
the mail server is not set for "open relay" so any Mail.Send() that is to an
account outside of our domain server gets rejected by the SMTP. Any accounts
inside the domain get sent properly.

Hi all!
I have an application that uses a gtk.Notebook to show the content of a
GUI. Each page of it has a gtk.Label with a text that explains the
content. Each page is added to the notebook with the method
append_page(child, tab_label=None), passing a gtk.Label instance as
tab_label variable.
Now I'd like to connect to the button_press_event of the gtk.Label a
function call. I've done something like this:

Hi all.
Is it possible to relay a radio stream from my home server to my online web
server and then have connections from their.
That way I would only have one connection from my home server to my web
server and multi connections from my web server.
Can this be done withy PHP?
Regards,
Badboy.

Hey folks,
I'm having a bit of an issue with how Windows Vista (or my ASUS notebook)
handles closing my notebook lid. If I have an external monitor (my TV
through S-Video) connected to my laptop, but not used, and I close my
notebook lid, it switches over to the TV automatically -- changing the
desktop resolution from 1440x990 (my notebook resolution) to 1024x768 (the TV
resolution).
When I open my laptop lid, the desktop is...

I have a W2K3 Server we are setting up to run a Windows Service for a client
at their location.
I don't want this machine to go through exchange or their local mail server,
I just want the Server to send out a message from the SMTP Virtual Server to
me (in a different company) to tell me that some exception has happened in
our service. The problem is that it creates an error about a relay:

I have a working internet cable connection in my son's dorm room but, when I try and connect my Vista notebook, it can't find it, saying it's an "unknown network" though it identifies the adapter. Network settings say it's a local area connection but it should say internet. I can't find where to change that on the adapter or the connection setting but it seems to think the adapter is lan only.
EDIT: The actual setting is "local only" instead...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
