Hello
Querystring allows a limited amount of data and also which is not secure ,second thing at the receiving page you will get data as a string which is not your actual datatype of the object. better try to avoid using querystring .
Yes, the Session object is infinitely more suited for this task.

I *think* if you said something like this:
"?mylist=a&myli st=b&mylist=c"
you can get the array, but you might need to do more like this:
"?mylist0=a&myl ist1=b&mylist2= c"
Well, the Request.QuerySt ring object is a string[] already, so I don't think the variable text matters at all. you can put ?anything=value 1&anythingelse= value2 and you should still be able to loop through the values.
The difficulties lie in the fact that you have to construct the URL, and then deconstruct the QueryString into an ArrayList, where as in the Session object, you can just drop the whole arraylist in.

In ASP, when we pass data between pages, we usually pass by query string. If
we pass data by query string, that means we need to use submit button, not
by regular button, and the form will pass to the server since it's GET or
POST request. But if just form-to-form communication, why we need to send
the form to the server? Please help clarify. Thanks!!

Hi everybody!
Recently I was struggling with client/server issues in MS Access/PostgreSQL
combination.
Although Access is intuitive and easy to use desktop database solution, many
problems appear when someone is trying to use it as front-end for real
server database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
One of these problems is regarding pass-through queries and parameters.
I wanted to have all the code on client, while executing it on...

Hello,
I'm trying to use an ArrayList to do data binding, but am getting an
error I don't understand. I posted this in another thread, but that was
all confused with various other problems, which could be why no-one
answered it!! I've now narrowed the problem down, so am starting a new,
more specific, thread. Sorry it's a bit long, but it's reasonably simple
stuff.
I have a page where I'm showing product details, including any

Hi all,
In my VB.NET code below, I try to change the user name in my arraylist from
Ted to Bob, but instead it adds a new user to the arraylist named Bob. Can
anyone explain why this happens and how I might modify a structure in an
arraylist without having to completely remove it and re-add the structure to
the arraylist? I just want to iterate throught the arraylist and change
items based on certain conditions.
Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I have been playing with sorting my arraylist and having some
troubles. Maybe just going about it wrong. My arraylist contains objects
and one of the members of the object is 'name.' I would like to sort the
arraylist based on object.name - is that possible?
Thanks!

My pgm1 (User Interface Level) passes an empty ArrayList to pgm2

the ArrayList.
Question1: When pgm2 gets the ArrayList back from pgm3 how to extract and
separate the fields out fo the ArrayLists?
Question2: When pgm3 gets ArrayList back from pgm2 how to separate the

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
