How can I log read receipts?
Is it possible to insert or grab an existing message ID (from the header
etc), log it into my DB, than once the read receipt is sent from the clients
machine, pull it off my pop server, parse it and than log that it was read?
Any suggestions?

My client has retail shops. All these shops will access retail application
through Internet. So sales receipts will be generated from web/application
server and send across Internet to shops. Crystal Report is web enable and
would be a solution. So far I have seen Crystal Report report displays on
the browser and on the browser, user has to press a print button to print the
report. Does anyone have experience printing sales receipts,...

I have a table of "memos". each record in that table has a primary
key "memo ID" that is autonumber. I have another table that is "memo
receipts" with each record having a "receipt id" field that is not a
primary key. When a user reads a memo, I create a receipt record that
shows that they have read and acknowledged the memo. "receipt id" is
set equal to "memo id". I have this part working fine. Next what I
want is when a user checks...

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know how to program a Python script to send out emails
with a request delivery receipt? Is it something I can build into the
email message via the mime stuff?
And yes, I know it's probably a bad idea, but I can't talk my clients
out of it ;-)

I'm fairly new to web services in .net/vs.
I'm wondering about a few ws things:
- should I create a new ws project for every ws?
- how do I best ensure that only selected consumers can use a ws?
- how do I best pass back receipts to the ws consumer?
Have googled the above, but with little success.
Hope someone can kick start me/point to a authoritative resource.

Hi Everybody,
I am busy working on a web application project that uses Active Directory Distribution groups using C#.
I want to use Microsoft Outlook to send emails to the AD groups, but I have a question:
If I use Outlook to send the mail to the group, will the mail appear in the 'Sent' items of the sender, and wil the sender be able to receive read/received receipts for the mail?
If this does not happen by default, how do I go...

hello all, I am trying to pull all of the Sales Receipts data, for a specified date range, into MS Access.
So far I am unsuccessful in my attempt. Below is the code that I have so far. FYI, I have temporarily disabled On Error so I can continue to debug this code. My responseList is empty :( Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
