Hi all,
For gathering certain information in building my database, I'm depending
on the things I found on the web, especially one website (let's call it
www.mywebsite.com). Is there a way to query this site (it has fill in
boxes on the page and a search button) depending on values in my form
and getting the results back in my form? This (general) question is
keeping me out of my sleep for weeks now....
Any tip is appreciated....

Hi! I posted this question in browser_ctl group as well but got no results.
I have a form with embedded WebBrowser. Upon clicking on a link in the embedded webbrowser that calls JavaScript's window.open() call where I pass different width, height, top, left and other parameters, I open a new form of the same type as the original.
I noticed that the webbrowser in the newly opened form is shifted to the right and bottom leaving gray areas...

I'm trying to display some HTML on a form in a VB.Net project.
I've referenced the COM WebBrowser control, and put an instance of it on my
form.
But during the Form_Load, I'm getting the following error:
The code generator inserted the following line of code in the form (wbReport
is the
name of the WebBrowser control)

I've got a custom HttpHandler to process all requests for a given
extension. It gets invoked OK, but if I try to do a Server.Transfer I
get an HttpException. A Response.Redirect works, but I really need to
avoid the extra round-trip to the client.
I've tried Passing the page name, the full URL, and the instance of
the handler class to the Transfer method, but everything gets me the
same error 500.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have a NET 2.0 windows application that needs to send a "post" <form> to a
website. That website opens a new browser window when it receives the
command and establishes a dialog in that window.
The website requires "post" and not "get" so I can apparently not use a
query string.
Is there an example that shows how to submit a form through the
System.Windows.Form.WebBrowser control without any additional user
interaction? Is another...

is logged:

My Windows.Form application hosts the WebBrowser control which
interacts with an ASP page that I wrote. How can i detect (on server
side) whether the request is coming in from my WIndows.Form application
or from an instance of IE? Can i set some property on WebBrowser
control?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
