Hi all,
I am pretty new to PHP. I was reading PHP manual and trying out the
example from 2nd
chapter (A simple Tutorial). When i try to print the variable as
given in the example it returns
a empty value instead of returning the browser type.
Here is the line which i am using in my code and from manual:
<?php echo $_SERVER; ?>

when i first load index.php with arguments ie: "index.php?page=x", the
$_SERVERvalue is null. I then get the session id appended to
each link. If i refresh the page, I get the $_SERVER I want,
but if i click a link $_SERVER returns the value I want and
the session id.
Any ideas as to how I can get the $_SERVER to return the
arguments on first page load?

Once my application gets complicated and complicated. I found it's really
hard to keep track of Session value I am using in my asp.net application. I
am just wondering if anyone have any experience on how to keep track of
session value. Any help it's appreciated.

Hi,
On my 1st page, i have a function which gets a new ID value and need to
transfer to another immediately.
which I want to get in 2nd page using Request.form("txtID"), but doesn't
work, the returned value is ""
Anybody know how to set this value on 1st page properly, in order to let 2nd
page catch it? I don't want to use querystring to pass this value!

I have a situation where I have a page called "HiddenFrame.aspx" that
contains a public property exposing the value of a textbox called "TextBox1"
that is in a hiddenframe.
Loaded in the main frame is a page called "Page1.aspx" in which from the
code behind I need to set the value of "TextBox1" which will be persistent
following the initial setting.
How can I set the value of that textbox in the hiddenframe?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
