I see rotor was removed for 2.4 and the docs say use an AES module
provided separately... Is there a standard module that works alike or
an AES module that works alike but with better encryption?
cheers,

Hi!
Pre-requisites:
-------------------
1) Consider I'm about to write a quite large program. Say 500 K
lines.
2) Part of this code will consist of 50 structs with, say, no more
than at most 1K bytes of data.
3) These structs are to be used by all of the other 500K lines in
various places.

I'm wanting to replace Field Values in an existing PDF, I've done this
with PHP by doing a replace in the file.
I've been able to read the file in a byte array in c# but all my
attempts to replace strings in a binary file have led to failure for the
last couple of days.
I've stared at this function for too long I've become crosseyed ;)
Any suggestions, or is there an easier way to replace in a byte array og

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with
it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but
I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page
controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like
it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still
submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the
upload section. The file name...

Just want an opinion. I have an algorithm that needs to run as fast as
possible, in fact. Its already too slow. I've done as much algorithmic
changes as I can to reduce the amount of code, so now I'm turning to
micro-optimizations.
One function that gets run a bazillion times is the pow() function from
math.h. However I've realized probably 90% of the time, the exponent
will be 0. 99.9% of the time, the exponent will lie between -3 and...

Hello,
I'd like to make a simple replacement of 'pow()' function for the embedded
platform I'm working on. What is the better way, probably bit shifting?
Thanks.
Best regards, Roman Mashak.

must be algorithm as OPTIMAL,FIFO and LRU and have average sum of page faults pr. algorithm.
sum of simulations i want it to do is ex 5000
and can choose the size of the memory. That means the sum of adresses which the refferance string could generate ex.
The sum of frames the process shall have access to
And how long the refferance string should be.
Have had troubles for weeks now how i should begin :(
looking forward to some who can...

Hi, I'm trying to sample without replacement some numbers (xons:70
values out of 1 to 200 and xEPS1cover:150 values out of 1 to 200).
Then I'm trying to intersect both samples to see how many are in
common. I have tried to write the code below, but I cannot seem to
sample without replacement (there are recurrent numbers within the
same sample, I don't want that) and I cannot either find the exact
intersection between the two samples. Can...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
