I have a list of records in a third party grid: when an item is selected, a
user control (bound to a control module level dataset) is filled with the
selected record. I have another form with a different user control also
bound in a similar manner with a grid lsit used to select the current
record. There is also a tab on this form with another instance of the first

All
I am working with a DataGrid and a form consisting of a number of text,
checkbox, combobox controls, all bound to the same datatable. When I click
on my "New" button, I create a new row, make it the current row, and allow
the user to make changes in the form. If the user desires to cancel, they
can click the "Cancel Changes" button. Here is where my problems start.
Once the Cancel Changes button is clicked, the bindings on the...

I am using VB.NET VS 2005 and I have a datagridview bound to a table. This
table has rate information on bank loans. The fiels are ProductName,
MinDeposit, Rate, and PreviousRate
On the grid I have maybe 5 rows. I would like to change the MinDeposit
field and then call a routine to chane the ProductName. Here is an example
of the current data
'$5K', 5000, 5.34, 5.00 - This means that the Name is "$5K" a minimum

Dear members,
I have a datagrid and a textbox on my form.
I bound both of them to a common datasource( an arbitrary datatable).
When I change a text inside textbox I expect that value of same column
in datagride also change and be equal to new value entered inside
textbox.
But this change reflects to datagrid just when I change selected row
in the datagrid.

I have set of controls (Textboxes, checkboxes etc) along with the Grid on
Windows Form.
I use BindingSource to populate both Grid and the set of Controls. User
selects the record in the grid and all controls are populated with data from
the selected row.
The grid is going to be read only. Textboxes, checkboxes are going to be
read/write.
What event and how do I need to use to catch any change in any of the
textboxes? I tried to use...

Hello Ashutosh,
I see your points. As to your two new concerns, I am give the detailed
comments in the following.
1. Is it possible to achieve this result without calling Update on the
route table? I want to give the user an option to save/reject the changes.
Yes, we can achieve the objective without calling the Update function on
the route table. The necessary thing we need to do is updating the

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
