I have no idea if this is more a PHP question or Javascript question,
because my problem hinges equally on both.
I have a PHP script that queries a database and creates a list of rows
for each item, each with their own checkbox one can select to do stuff
later. The PHP script this form posts to creates an array of all the
selected checkboxes and does stuff.
But, on the form, I want to be able to have the checkboxes auto-check
when...

Hello.
I need to set a checkbox to the "checked" state and prevent the user from
unchecking it. I tried using "disabled", but then the value is not passed on
the Post to an ASP page.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,

Hello Everyone,
I have a main form with a datasheet subform that I use to query by form.
After the user selects two criteria on the main form and clicks the
cmdShowResults button on the main form, the subform returns the records
based on the two criteria. The criteria used on the main form are values
selected in two list boxes. When the user clicks on the first list box
(lstCollege), it returns values in the second list box...

I am creating a system whereby equipment is inspected. Data is
inputted into an inspection form. However, any equipment that is not
satisfactory needs to have spare parts ordered for that piece of
equipment from a list of parts. I kind of need a form which lists
parts and then check boxes next to a part can be created so the user
can select which parts are needed and then a button is clicked which
sends these parts to a report. I am not...

Hello All,
I display a list of entries with a checkbox against them using a
repeater control bound to a database table. Based on the value of database
table I want to either show the checkbox for a row or not to show, how do I
accomplish that using a repeater control ?
Should I do something like this
<%if (((DataRowView)Container.DataItem) == 0)
{ %><asp:CheckBox ID="chkBookMarkID" text='<%#

Hi,
I really hope someone will be able to help me with this one as I am sure im just missing something simple.
I have an unbound form which has 20 yes/no unbound check boxes. The purpose of the form is to allow users to tick the various fields and a subform return the results. The subform, which does requery when a check box is ticked is based off a query. Initially, I wanted all the records to display before any check boxes are ticked so...

What I want to do is have the form open the report where a filter
is set to use the values from the check box AND the value selected
from the list box to generate the report.
What I can't figure out is how to use the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
