Get Sick while design component using Visual Web Express 2008

1 New Member
Hi you guy!
I am using Visual Web Express 2008 to design a server controls (a component).
The control is almost very simple.

protected override void RenderContents( HtmlTextWriter writer)
{
base.RenderCont ents(writer);
XElement span = new XElement("span" ,
new XAttribute("sty le", "color: #FFF000; font-size: 20pt;"),
"normal text",
new XElement("b", "bold_text" )
);
writer.Write(sp an.ToString());
}

As you can see, it just writes some text.
But, for example, I change the value of color, save all files, and then refresh the design with the hope that there will be change.
But, there still no change. I try refresh button up to 10 times but there no change.
Some time it changes (in some accidental way, which I cannot control).

I change some property/method of the component and want the design to change it, but It never works. I feel really sick.

Any help/work around would be much appreciated.

I'm using Visual Studio 2008 and have got a project with the following: Web Service (on a server): 1 web method that returns an xml list of files stored on the server. It references Component A to return that list. Win Forms App (laptop): Has a local file list that I want to compare to the server list. The win app references Component A to read the local file list and call the web service to read the server list and compare them. ...

The readme.txt has: All you need to do is open the workspace "pcbuild.sln" in Visual Studio, select the desired combination of configuration and platform and eventually build the solution. Unless you are going to debug a problem in the core or you are going to create an optimized build you want to select "Release" as

Here is a strange occurrance: I start up my Visual C# 2008 Express program today, start a new project, put a bunch of controls on a form, save the project, and then close the program (for a break) and start it up again after. I reload my project, and it is empty. No form, no controls. I try again. And again. The same continues to happen. Anyone know what can be wrong? I did not register my Visual C# 2008 Express as it had been warning me...

I've been living with a frustrating issue with VS.NET for some months now and I need to figure out what the problem is. Hopefully someone has run into the same issue and can suggest a fix. I suspect some permissions problem. I'm running VS.NET 2008 in Vista. Symptoms and observations: * ASP.NET's native ImageMap and Image controls work just fine and provide a design-time preview of images that are referenced via the ImageUrl property *...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
