Problem in iTextSharp.text .pdf

108 New Member
Hi guys,

I try creating a simple application that creates/convert pdf file. I used iTextSharp.text .pdf but I got an error "namespace could not be found, missing directive or assembly". I try adding DOC2PDFLib in the reference but I still have the error. Hope you can help me guys to make my apps work.

Thanks.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am using iTextSharp to generate PDF documents from XML files. Here is the problem. When I run the app on my development machine, everything works as it should. When I run the app on test machines, the PDF document does not get generated correctly. The actual file that is output shows a size of 0 bytes and if I try to open

I'm looking at iText to generate PDFs, and I'm not sure if iTextDotNet is the same as iTextSharp. I have the latest iTextDotNet, which is for framework 2. Are these the same product? Also, I can see how to create a PDF to a file, but how would I send it to the user? Not as a file, but I guess create the PDF as a stream and send that to the user. I'm looking through the examples (VB ones) but none of them deal with anything other than...

I have no problem writing PDF file to hard drive on the fly with iTextSharp, but have had no luck in sending PDF as a stream in my asp.net web application. I am simply copying the example at http://itextsharp.sourceforge.net/examples/Chap0105.cs But, Adobe Acrobat reader complains that the file has been damaged or cannot be opened, or says something like "if the file was sent as an

Hi Using itextsharp 4.0.8 I'm trying to place images as hyperlinks on my pdf. I've tried wrapping HTMlLanchor tags round the image and getting the HTMLworker to handle it (the way I would with text), but it doesn't seem to work. I get the image, but you can't click on it. Is this something anyone else has tried with any success?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
