Hi

I have quiz data stored in my Database. I need to customize the question view to show the question then use RadioButtonList to display my choices. Is there is any tutorial or guide I can use to customize my View? Or can I customize the data view from the DATA controls? Thanks

Moved to .NET Forum as this is a .NET question not a classic ASP question.

Hi all. The folks at my current project are obsessed with creating customized filters. I tried showing and telling them about Filter By Selection and Filter By Form which will probably outdo any functionality of what we customize but no luck. It's a bit annoying on one hand but at the same time keeps me busy - can't complain. The first, more simple task is to select one of about 8 sales reps, select a filter of >=1000 on one column...

Hi, Does anyone know how to customise the default scrollbars that appears in a form/view? i.e in C# .NET if we enable 'Auto scroll', the scroll bar automatically appears if the contents of the view exceeds the 'view size'. Is there someway I can provide a colored scrollbar there? OR Is there someway to use a 'scrollbar' control in the form and cutomize it.

What is the desired way to deliver a customized view of a database query? The scenario is that I want to group records based on similar fields. Can I use any built in data controls and achieve this level of customization? I can accomplish my custom view via Response.Write, but this can't be the way to go, for no other reason than it dumps out HTML prior to the <HTML> tag. For example: The data:

Hi everyone. I'm trying to write a class with policy based design (Alexandrescu's Modern C++ Design). I'm not a programmer but an engineer so this is kind of hard for me. Through the use of policies, I want to customize the structure of a class. The idea is to investigate the use of several data structures. One option would be the use of the boost dynamic bitset. Another would be the use of the std::vector. I obtained some code that...

I'm just starting to dive into the new membership stuff and wondering if it is possible to customize the default membership architecture in ASP.Net 2.0 to do the following: Instead of UserName and Password for the login account, I want E-mail Address and Password as the main login credentials. I'd also like to store additional info such as Name, Address, Nickname, and Bio. I also want the e-mail address and nicknames to both be unique. ...

I'm working in Visual Studio 2005. I'm looking at two tables in the Data Set Designer. There's a relation between the two tables that lists 7 matching columns. Works great. One of the key columns from each table is called "Team". Valid values are F1 through F7, and when they match, the result set works exactly like you'd think it would. The problem is that somebody decided to put in a "Team" value of ALL, which

I have a perl script that creates an email attachment file from POST data on a web page. This works just fine. I want to customize the email body to contain all of the text data from the file itself. I thought this would be just a matter of using the $smtp->datasend($POSTvalues) with the $values coming from the names on the web page posting the data. Can someone show me what the correct code snippet would be? Here is my code: ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
