Hello Everybody,
I'm preparing for doing a daunting task: to access Out look Microsoft
Outlook Express(regardles the operating system and Outlook version) from a
Java applet (after the client (user) acknowleges to run this applet on his
machine).
The user has to read the existent user Microsoft Outlook users accounts and

Each day I get an e-mail containing a gzipped tar archive as an attachment.
I'd like an automated way to (1) save the archive as-is in a particular
folder and (2) unpack the archive with gunzip & tar, either directly from the
mail message or from its saved location in step 1.
Sorry to ask such a vague question, but there seem to be a zillion ways to

I am using a windows service which accesses Microsoft Outlook. Outlook is
supposed to send an email. This works fine when not run in a windows
service.
I am running the service under my user domain logon.
I am using VB.net and using redemption.dll to bypass the security patch.
This is the line of code that causes the event error
Dim olApp As New Outlook.Application
When I try and use a service the following error occurs.

works fine as designed, but when it is launched from a

Not sure where to post this.
At runtime, we need to be able to make sure a user is running Outlook (at
least 98 or higher) in order to send an email.
So, if a condition is met, we need to start up outlook (if it's not running)
and send an email from the logged on user's outlook account.
How do we do this?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
