The SQL query is relatively complex but when the report is printed from the Crystal Reports designer it shows up very fast. When the report is printed from my application it takes about ten times as long to get the report to appear. When printing straight from the Crystal Reports

Hi, I will be taking on a new project developing a web-based "reporting system". The first requirement I got from BI group is "we just want to look at the data". Basically, there is a huge database, and they want certain people to be able to drill down to the data they want, perhaps a few graphs here and there, and then extract selected data to an Excel file or a flat file for further analysis. As of now there are a handful of parameters...

I'm new to Crystal Reports, so this may be a dumb problem, but I just can't figure it out. Basically, I want to control the selected data in the C# code as opposed to Crystal Reports (since SQL is truly for querying, and Crystal Reports is more a reporting tool). The only way I've found to do this so far is to execute my select in C#, then store to an XML file, and then have the Crystal Report read the XSD and XML files. However, I...

Hi guys!! I am new to programming.Could anyone help me understand what does the following Crystal Report 11 feature mean and how it is an improvement over Crystal 10.As far as i know exporting from crystal was allowed in previous versions also. 1)Report export configuration information can be saved with the report so that end users forgo the time and trouble of reconfiguring the export each time a report is run.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
