1 New Member
hi
I have programmed the datagrid in windows application form to display records.Now if records are many then scrollbars come automatically. this is ok.But i have also created 'Reset' button in the form to set all the fields of the form as blank ,that is , datagrid too. For this i coded it as

datagrid1.datas ource=nothing.

This is clearing the datagrid but the space between two scrollbars in corner is left which is different from the backcolor or alternating color of data grid. i want to remove that corner also on reset. how can i do it. can anyone answer me

Hello, We're doing our own datagrid based on the System.windows.forms.datagrid control, and are having some problems with horizontal scrolling. In general, we construct our datagrid adding a tablestyle and gridcolumnstyles to that tablestyle. If we have invisible columns, we add the gridcolumnstyle with Width = 0 (couldn't find any other way to do it, because there is no Visible property available...).

Hi All, I have a VB.NET winforms app created in VS2003. It has a datagrid that is dynamically created on a tab. When the tab is displayed the scrollbars for the datagrid appear inside the outline of the grid, positioned where they would have been if the grid was at its design-time size. When you resize the form by dragging a border the scrollbars flip to their correct positions, but I can't find any way of doing this programmatically so the...

I have windows form with datagrid control. I don't want the datagrid control to display vertical and horizontal scrollbars. I wonder whether there is a way to get rid of scrollbars without deriving my own class from System::Windows::Forms::DataGrid? The problem is that unless I derive my own class from DataGrid I don't have access to scroll bar objects. The HorizScrollBar and VertScrollBar

Hi all, I have to problems concerning datagrids, tabcontrols and scrollbars: 1) I created a form with a TabControl. This TabControl has two TabPages: the first with a datagrid to browse database records and the second with some controls (TextBoxes, OptionButtons...) to edit these records. When the second tab is shown and I use the DataGrid's SetDataBind method, the grid scrollbars are disabled.

It's easy to make the last row in a datagrid (filled with a table) invisible: datagridObject.Rows.Visible = false BUT if 'i' is not the last row then things go wrong. I even tried: for (int i = datagridObject.Rows.Count - 1; i >= 0; i-- ) {

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
