I am trying to display images from an Access 2000 database and I get an error

I have a win 2000 database of autographs and scanned photos. They are
in the SAME directory. In the table, my "ImagePath" text field shows
JUST the image name (i.e. "blank.jpg"). I have an image field that
links to the ImagePath field. But it does not display in the form.
I go in and delete the image field and add it back in and link it to
the "blank.jpg" file (its a dummy jpg that says "Not Avail"). Then I

My problem is with the second bit of code, commented as " 'Portfolio image
section". Basically, the SQL query gets details of a random image from an

datatype=image. It has a Bitmap picture in it. (I verified the type by
creating an Access project and a looking at the data, which access reports
as "Bitmap Image".)

Here is a toy problem describing what I want to do:
I have a web page with a single IMG element (say for a 128 x 128
"screen") which is initially blank (image=black pixels). I have AJAX
code that polls my server for updated image data. I would like to use
AJAX to fetch the image data, and then use javascript to update the IMG
data to show the new picture. This needs to work in IE and Firefox.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
