This is for a utility that I am writing to update all of our Excel reports.
I currently have a form with a couple list boxes and browse buttons. One
browse button allows the user to add the XLS files they want to update and
inserts the paths into the corresponding list box. The second browse button
allows the user to select the module (BAS, CLS, FRM) files they wish to
insert or update in those Excel files and put them into the other list...

My Solution has three different projects: GUI, Api, Match.
Project GUI includes a reference to Match.dll and Project Match includes a
reference to Api.dll . Project Api doesn't include any references.
Technically, GUI calls on classes/methods in Match, and Match calls on
classes/methods in Api. Api doesn't include user-defined references.
With Configuration Manager in "Release" (and all the projects in Release as

build, I need to update all the web references to pick up any changes in the

Does anyone have experience using project->project references in large
solutions? What are the plus/minuses that you have found?
Currently, we are using the binary assembly references for our code,
but this becomes problematic when you want to build from multiple
branches/working directories.
