Restoring deleted history

Someone has been using my computer whilst I was away on holiday. They have
deleted the history presumably so I won't know what sites were accessed in my
absence. Does anyone know if there is a way to restore deleted history?

Dear All, I got a wierd problem which I haven't been able to explain. I am working on MS SQL 2000. I don't know for what reason, the relationship between Parent/Child table is getting deleted. When I open up the ER diagram in MSSQL Enterprise Manager, I see the relationship line come up for just a split of a second, and disappears afterwards. This is the second time I am seeing this thing.

I am using Access 2002, with a database template from MS Office. The Orders Management Database. I have tweaked this for use with our company. It is a small database with close to a 1000 records in our Orders table. Within this table are 80 records that I decided to delete to clean it up a bit. When I went into my data entry form, I noticed the bottom portion of the form was blank, this is usually the area that contains each customers...

Hi I think I must be particularly dozy this morning. Each morning a database is backed up toa file on a remote server, and every 15 mins after that a transaction log backup is appended to the same file on the remote server. When we want to restore the database on the remote server, we appear to have to restore each transaction log backup individually - is that

Hello, Every so often, I'm asked to help people recover data from tables that were either dropped or where to much data was DELETEed. The complications related to restoring data are a problem. The SAS users are laughing because they can (to a certain extend) easily go back to an earlier SAS table by simply starting dsm. Of course, a flat file table is different than a relational table; but still, the trouble related to restoring DB2...

Throughout the year, I delete records which is a very common occurance in any database. However, from time to time, it would be nice to print off a list of the records that were deleted. Is it possible that when a record is deleted, the person's name would automatically be added to a table? Help, help, help. My friend wiped out a spreadsheet, and then saved it blank somehow (unless the computer did it, which I doubt). I don't know how to access the History, to find an earlier saved version. Can I do this? I tried system restore (ofcourse, no luck), and it's not in the recycling bin and restore.....it's gone, daddy, gone. Please reply. Thank you.

Hi folks developing with Pydev/Eclipse, this is the second time in about half a year that the following surprise bites me: I've switched between some files in Pydev/Eclipse using the FileNavigator, and when I want to go back to my last-edited *.py file, it is missing. No more in the FileNavigator, no more in the OpenFiles-List of the Editor. Removed anywhere. Erased from the file system. Restorable from

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
