I have a multiline textbox (with scrollbar) on a form. I add lines to the
textbox at runtime. If the number of lines crosses the visible area in the
textbox, I want the scrollbar to scrolldown. I tried selectionstart but it is
not working.
Any comments will be appreciated.

I have a textbox that i am adding to (in codebehind of ASP.NET) and
need to ensure that the focus is scrolled to the bottom of the textbox
each time the page refreshes, and then set focus to a 2nd textbox
(which the user types input into).
I have tried a couple functions I found posted online but they don't
work (see below)
The closest I got was using the scrolldown method:

Why?
Having a scrollable table i want to fetch more data from server and
append it as table rows if the scrolling is at the end position and i
press again on scrolldown. Without trying my intuition tells me that
onscroll isnt gonna work as there is nothing to scroll down at the end
of scrollable area.

Hello Everyone,
Fairly new to c# here and have a question regarding scrollbars,
particularly a vertical scrollbar.
It looks like my options are restricted for the textbox scrollbars
being that I can enable vertical or horizontal scrollbars for the
textbox and their wrapping but thats it for modifications of the
scrollbar.

Is there a way to:
1. Find out if a scrollbar is currently show on the TextBox
2. Get the width of the horizontal scrollbar
I am doing a UserControl with a TextBox with a small image placed in the upper right cornet of the
text box. If user typed a lot of text and scrollbar shows, i need to catch the event and move the
image left so that it will not be hidden by the scroll bar.

I want to know the position of the horizontal scrollbar in a textbox
as a percentage
- if the horizontal scrollbar is hard left,
I want to display 0% on the form.
- if the horizontal scrollbar is smack in the middle,
I want to display 50% on the form.
