I have a multiline textbox (with scrollbar) on a form. I add lines to the textbox at runtime. If the number of lines crosses the visible area in the textbox, I want the scrollbar to scrolldown. I tried selectionstart but it is not working. Any comments will be appreciated.

I have a textbox that i am adding to (in codebehind of ASP.NET) and need to ensure that the focus is scrolled to the bottom of the textbox each time the page refreshes, and then set focus to a 2nd textbox (which the user types input into). I have tried a couple functions I found posted online but they don't work (see below) The closest I got was using the scrolldown method:

Is there a trustworthy way to detect mouse clicks on the native scrollbar arrow buttons (scrolluparrow and scrolldownarrow) in Mozilla? Why? Having a scrollable table i want to fetch more data from server and append it as table rows if the scrolling is at the end position and i press again on scrolldown. Without trying my intuition tells me that onscroll isnt gonna work as there is nothing to scroll down at the end of scrollable area.

Hello Everyone, Fairly new to c# here and have a question regarding scrollbars, particularly a vertical scrollbar. It looks like my options are restricted for the textbox scrollbars being that I can enable vertical or horizontal scrollbars for the textbox and their wrapping but thats it for modifications of the scrollbar.

Hi, Is there a way to: 1. Find out if a scrollbar is currently show on the TextBox 2. Get the width of the horizontal scrollbar I am doing a UserControl with a TextBox with a small image placed in the upper right cornet of the text box. If user typed a lot of text and scrollbar shows, i need to catch the event and move the image left so that it will not be hidden by the scroll bar.

Hello experts, this is a repost but I have been (much) more clear. I want to know the position of the horizontal scrollbar in a textbox as a percentage - if the horizontal scrollbar is hard left, I want to display 0% on the form. - if the horizontal scrollbar is smack in the middle, I want to display 50% on the form. - if the horizontal scrollbar is 2/3rd along the X-axis,

Hi there! Is there a way to bind a Textbox.Text to a ScrollBar.Value (not the Textbox-own Scrollbar) and vice versa? The Problem: I have to deal with two controls. The Textbox should accept integers as input, limited by a ScrollBar's Minimum- and Maximum. Changing the ScrollBar-Value should update the Textbox-Text and vice versa. So the textbox-text and scrollbar-value represent the same value. The user is

Hi all, I have a web page with Multiline TextBox. Every 3 seconds I refresh the page and display all received messages in this TextBox. When the TextBox is updated (The Text property is set). The vertical scrollbar is flickering (moving up and down and the scrollbar "square" is starting big and shrinks when the TextBox is filled). Please note that every refresh more data is added to the TextBox, and nothing is taken out (Appending...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
