My javascript program has reason to want to stop.
For example, function A has 5 lines, the second of which calls function
B, which has 5 lines, the first of which calls function C.
But function C discovers that something is very wrong so it does an
"alert" saying something like
Sorry, couldn't make the necessary connection

I need a button, on click you can go previous page (like histry.go(-1))
and then the page is immediately refreshed.
The first page is table from database. When you click to change item,
another page is opened, when you can edit. When you finish editing and
click 'save' you go back to the first page, but this page show old
content (reload/refresh is needed).

Hello All,
I am developing a page which has a complex layout. This layout cannot be
made using VS alone, so I have to go into the html view and edit the
html myself.
The problem is that everytime I save the file, (or add/remove any
component to the page) VS.Net reformats and re-edits the whole page.
I find this very irrating because VS.Net totally disorganizes my code.

I am looking at my Datagrid that I page through and when the user says get
the next page, I have to go to the database to get the next page. Is there
a way to use the dataset to allow us to read back and forth in it instead of
going back to the database to get it?

Hi all,
While I understand there is no stop button handler, I do desire a way to know if a form submission was aborted.
When I submit my page, I lock down all of the controls so no further editing is allowed. If aborted (via ESC key, stop button, etc.) I'd like the page to open again.
Is this possible?
I thought that perhaps onAbort would be called if I displayed an animated GIF but that is not the case (and rightfully so; makes...

I have a form that has lots of sub forms on it. The user shouldn't be editing the information that isn't part of the sub forms, and the fields are locked... but when a user presses return/enter - access seemingly progresses onto the next record for the parent form (and at the end it just goes to create a new record).
How can I stop access from going to the next record when they press enter?
