I'm using Crystal.net version 9.0 in a aspx page using the CrystalReportViewer server control. When I view a report running locally on my server where I installed the crystal off the CD, the print works fine. If I view the HTML source, the print button A tag has an HREF that specifies javascript:__doPostBack However, when I view the same report on a development server where I just

Hi, I have a crystal report that prints OK when I send the report directly to the printer. If i display the report on the screen and then click on the print icon I get the first couple of characters of each line chopped off on the printout. (I am always printing on the same printer and using the same printer driver) PS: I am using VS.NET 2003 and the version of crystal that ships along with

I'm having problems printing to a line printer from both Crystal Reports and SQL Server reporting services using dotnet. When I try and print a report from an application with Crystal I get the error message "the data area passed to a system call is too small", and nothing else. With SSRS when I try to print the report from the IDE I get the same error, I can load the report up to the report server and view it with IE, then print it from...

I am going through your Brian Bischof's walkthrough in Chapter 1 of his book Crystal Reports .Net Programming and have come up to a problem. When I load the ReportDocument onto the form I get no dialog box to select the typed ReportDocument class from. I am running VS.NET 2003 and have installed Service Pack 2 for Crystal Reports. The ReportDocument on my toolbox is assembly CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine 9.1.5000.0. The only...

My web app writes some binary data to a file at the client site via Response.Write and Response.BinaryWrite. This action is accomplished in response to a button click, with C# code behind as follows: private void SubmitButton_Click (object sender, System.EventArgs e) { // Set up the response to write the print file to the client Response.Clear (); Response.AppendHeader ("Content-Disposition", "filename=WebPrint.prn");

We've implemented forms authentication with Active Directory. We're slowly working on converting our Crystal Reports' reports from a VB6 application into Crystal Reports for .NET in our ASP.NET application. So far, we've got 2 done but we have several more to go. Anyway, we've discovered something which is pretty irritating for our users. When they go to any of the Crystal Reports for .NET and view it, they can see it just fine. ...

Has anyone figured out a way to print a Crystal Report in ASP.NET in code? What I would like is to have the user click a button on another page, have my ..Net program generate the report and pull up the Print Dialog Box (just as if the user had clicked on the Print button in the Crystal Viewer Toolbar). I'm using the ActiveX print control with Crystal 11 for printing.

We've got an old VB6 application which has 9 Crystal Reports it can print. These 9 reports are considered by our users to be in essence one "report", in the sense that they are all related and they cannot make their business plans without all 9 reports. However, they really are 9 separate reports, 7 of which have sub-reports in them. One of my colleagues has been working on converting them from the VB6 app, to .RPT files which can be...

I have a report that runs fine with data. If there is no data, I have its NO Data event sending a MsgBox and cancelling the report. Then it seems I still get the 2501 message on the Open Report command, even though I have the code to trap Err 2501 (from many postings - all looked the same to me) on the button the user pressed to get the report. I never see the code going to my error handling on the button. If I debug, I am in an...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
