C#, 1st programming class, creating a simple grade book

1 New Member
I need to develop a grade book program.
This is my first programming class. I have learned variables, data types, math operations and precedence, I HAVE not learned methods, I have read about 5 book and need help.
I need to ask a different question that is similar to this, make up something different because this is my homework question and that is not allowed.
Question:
The First program is required to ask for 5 students names and their corresponding grades on two assignments. Write out a report that contains each students name along with their 2 scores and the final numeric score ( as an average of the 2 grades)

thanks

When it comes to adding records in related tables, Access is really smart. But when I try to do the same using ADO, I am really stupid. Say I have two parent tables (eg Course, Student) and one child table (StudentProgress). The course progress records how a student progresses on a course. I have one course (History) and one student called Maya. I now want to record her grade (64). If I do this in Access using a form, then the form...

Hi group! I've been reading Juval Löwys "Programming .NET Components", and I think it is a very good book, giving nice guidelines on how to really exhaust the possibilities of .NET in general. Juval Löwy is indeed an advocate of using interface-based programming (he wrote a chapter dedicated to it, and he's using it througout the book).

Hello all, I'll start with this question: Can I assign an ID *and* a CLASS to a DIV? I am under the impression that you can. I'm having a problem that I can't seem to figure out. Some background info: I'm an amateur who makes sites for fun. I'm creating a website for my son's small school. It's a table-less design. I'm basically using a Container DIV with a Content DIV and a right-floating Sidebar DIV.

Hi all, I am cramming for an technical interview about C++ and programming... I believe there will be problems on data-structures and algorithms... could anybody recommend some online resources/references/websites so that I can find summary sheet about the confusing points of C++ and typical storage/time complexity of common data structures and common algorithms? I do have those big textbooks but I found they don't provide a fast...

For students 9th - 12th grade, with at least Algebra I. Do you think Python is a good first programming language for someone with zero programming experience? Using Linux and Python for first exposure to programming languages and principles. Thank you.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
