Windows Vista Home Premium + Zone Alarm Security Suite - BIG PROBL

I have a big problem - can anyone help a distressed woman here?

I installed Zone Alarm Security Suite and then after a while I didn't like
the software so I removed it properly, but then discovered my wireless become
limited access.

I found out that I have two firewalls and have tried everything to remove
Zone Alarm completely from the Windows Vista Security system but it is still
stuck there and this is causing problems of being unable to log online
wirelessly.

I've been so stuck with this problem since Sunday and has tried unblocking
all the wireless settings but nothing works and my wireless still says
"Connected with Limited Access"

How do I get rid of this stinking problem as I am extremely getting very
stressed and having to make numerous phone calls and getting nothing to
achieve it.

I will stick to Windows Firewall (main one) not Zone alarm ever again.

Can anyone here help me? HELPPPPPPPPPPPP PPPPPPPPPPPP!!! !!!!!!!!

Sam,

Maybe somebody in one of the security newsgroup or somebody in a vista
newsgroup, it is possible that somebody knows this in this programming
newsgroup, however than you can ask this probably as well in a Sims
newsgroup or any other newsgroup.

Hi, I am trying to find the minimum security settings to allow a windows control embedded in IE have full trust. If I give the entire Intranet zone full trust, this works. However, this is very broad and gives the entire zone high privleges. I tried giving just the assembly full trust (using the full URL for the DLL), but this doesn't seem to work.

Hey everyone! I had always wanted DreamScene on my computer, but found out that it can only be done on Windows Vista Ultimate (I have Home Premium.) I was wondering if any of you knew of a place that I can get DreamScene for Home Premium. I tried this one install thing, but the directions were too confusing and didn't make sense, considering the thing didn't even work. I also tried DreamScape, but it said "You must have Windows Vista Ultimate to...

Hi, How to detect Windows version and .NET version? I mean I want to know if user is using Windows 2000, XP, Vista and which Service Pack and version (XP Home, XP Pro, Vista Home Basic, Vista Premium, etc.). Is there any easy way to retrive this information? I'm wondering if all modern Windows version (2000, XP, 2003, Vista) has .NET installed by default or do I need to implement such a feature in Win32 instead of .NET?

I upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Ultimate. With Home Premium there is no Windows Authentication for IIS - I googled that it is available under Ultimate and upgraded to Ultimate. However, when using IIS manager and examining the Authentication properties of my Web Apps, the list still has the 3 items as before = "Anonymous Auth.", "ASP.NET Impersonation" and "Forms Auth". So does IIS under Ultimate support Windows Authentication? A...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
