MonthCalendar control year spin box

I seem to have an issue with the MonthCalendar control. When I click
on the year, to change the year, the dates not not seem to redraw
properly, especially if I go back in time. All seems Ok if I use the
Month navigation buttons.
It seems to be ok if I go foward in time.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
Version 8.0.50727.762 (SP.050727-7600)
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 2.0.50727

Anyone else seen this issue?

I noticed that the week numbers in Stephan Leban's MonthCalendar are not consistent with Microsoft Outlook (they are shifted one week forward). Is there any way I can sync these two up by changing something in the module or the code in Stephan's MonthCalendar? Thanks, TySmith -- Message posted via http://www.accessmonster.com

When the year in the monthcalendar control is decremented the whole year is selected between the currently select date and the newly chosen date. However this highlighting behavior does not occur if the year is incremented. Is this by design? Is there anyway to override this behavior?

I want the MonthCalendar control to return the single day selected. I have MaxSelectionCount = 1. What I get back though is this: "SelectionRange: Start: 5/5/2005 12:00:00 AM, End: 5/5/2005 12:00:00 AM" How do I get the single day date?

For a Windows project in VB.NET 2003: I need a Calendar that’s much larger than the MonthCalendar control in the toolbox; it needs to fill the whole screen (at least approximately ). VB won’t allow me to change the Size Height or Width Properties. I see that you can size a Calendar control in a Web project all you like; but I’m creating a Windows application project here. I see that Size comes from System.Drawing.Size...

I seem to have run into another strange anomaly with the monthCalendar control. I want to display 6 months at time with either the first half of the year (January-June) or the later half of the year (July-Dec) being rendered- depending on where todays date falls. I also want today's date to be selected. This poses a problem. Refer to the code below. Add a call to createCalendar() to your constructor (AFTER the InitializeComponents()...

Since we know that MonthCalendar control in VC is useful, and the Year box in it can be accessed by the up/down arrow on the right. Now I want to ask, because the Year is a integer type, can we directly input by typing integers from keyboard? Thanks in advance. Best regards Alex

Hi, Have an app where the user wants to pull up data for selected dates. The monthcalendar control is ideal for that, but the problem I have is that there may not be data for all dates. I'd rather not have them select dates for which there is no data. Given my choice I'd like to highlight in some fashion dates for which data is available. I can see how to use the bold attribute for a date, but it's pretty sad. I'd rther underline or...

I have VS 2005 (C#) There is a control numericUpDown so you can spin numeric values. What I need to do is to spin date (+- one day). How to do that? Moreover, I want a user to type the date as well. So the control should validate the typed values on the fly. Is it possible?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
