Not to rant, but just in general, ASP.Net seems to be a lot more hassle
than traditional ASP. I enjoyed lots of dynamic GUI work with
traditional ASP. And I'm a desktop developer by trade, so I love OOP
and thought ASP.Net was going to be a web-based version of MFC or even

callback and why should people go on Atlas rather than on the ASP.NET
2.0 Callback?
I used both of them:-
Atlas was easy to use, just put the controls you wish in an UpdatePanel

I have added a simple listbox in windows form under c# 2.0. It contains
a collection of approx 10 strings as list items. Now when i resize the
form whole listbox flickers.
Please tell me any feasible solution, i need to use a checked listbox
which also has same flickering problem on resize.

I have used modalpopup extender to popup a login from a panel. It is shown when a timer in the masterpage fires it's tick event. Everything is going ok. But each item a child page loaded the master page flickers by showing the panel i am using for the modal popup extender. I tried by making the panel invisible at page load but it shows javascript error in each page i open and also the modal popup is not popped up even when the timer...
