Turning off Keyboard shortcuts for International Characters

I have a notebook, and therefore am working on the standard condensed version
of a keyboard. I type fast, and with this psrticular keyboard, I have a
tendancy to hit the Shift and Ctrl, or some other button at the same time...
That said, I am experiences many instances, where by doing this, I
accidentaly activate a French foreign language shortcut. (i.e. when I attempt
to insert quotations, instead an È appears, among other various symbols).
I only type in English, so this is seriously driving me crazy, as even now
it seems to be stuck on, and I cannot use the usual symbols or punctuation,
as I instead recieve French letters and characters...
Please, how do I turn this off (preferrably permanently)!?

I have the same problem My keyboard will suddenly start working as a french
keyboard as well. I have tried Alt, up arrow and shift key combination, and
that usually helps, although I may have to enter it a few times before it
'takes'. I'd love to find a better solution.

Some use the kbd element (Example: <kbd>Ctrl</kbd>+<kbd>G</kbd>) to mark up keyboard shortcuts, but the spec defines kbd as: "Indicates *text* to be entered by the user." (emphasis mine). UA support aside, what's the best way to do this? -- Spartanicus

I cannot use & to implement a keyboard shortcut on a TabPage like I can on a Button. Is there a way to easily do this? Maybe TabPages aren't supposed to have keyboard shortcuts, but it would be convenient of they did. thanks, Zytan

Hi I am writing an application where I need to process some text read from files, and write information to a content-management-system. Unfortunately the CMS does not accept international characters in some text strings (eg for names of entities), like the Danish Å, Ø, Æ. Is there an inbuilt, or recognised, method of converting these types of characters to "ascii" text (to be honest I don't know if "ascii" is the

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
