FormParent load opens FormChildA.
FormChildA btn click opens FormChildB.
(FormChildA and FormChildB are both children of FormParent)
(FormChildA and FormChildB are different forms)
Problem: FormChildA btn click can only open one instance for FormChildB. I
need multiple instances of FormChildB.
Any suggestions or ideas please.

Hi all,
I'm opening a mdichild (Form2) within another mdichild (Form1). In Form1 I
have:
Form2.MdiParent = Me.MdiParent 'No problem here
....
....
If Form2.ShowDialog = DialogResult.OK Then 'I get an error message here.
This is the error: Forms that are not top level forms cannot be displayed as
modal dialog. Remove the form from any parent form before calling ShowDialog.

Let's say I have an MDI parent form with a textbox. If I create an MDI
child form and, at runtime, move the MDI child window over the textbox on
the MDI parent, the textbox appears in front of the MDI child window.
How can I make the MDI child window appear in front of any controls that may
be on the MDI parent?

Hi
I've noticed a couple of postings on this topic. I'm either not uderstanding
them or I'm missing something.
My app uses an MDIParent form (frmCAD).
A menu item on frmCAD shows a child form (frmHistoricalCall). It also
another menu item on frmCAD to "enabled = false", to prevent other forms
being opened when frmHistoricalCall is in use. That menu item has it's
modifier property set at "public".

I want to ask something about MDIParent and MDIChild. I have no problem by putting the Form inside MDIParent by giving the link in the MDIParent. My question is.. when I have a link to another Form in the First Form. The form will show, but outside the MDIParent. Can someone help me to solve this problem?

I am trying to add Meebo's "Pop-out" kinda feature to my application which when a button is pressed in a MdiChild form, it kicks that MdiChild form out of the MdiParent boundary and acts like a SDI form of itself. When a button is pressed again, it is kicked back into the parent form.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
