Hi!
I am a new to programmeing in .Net and C#.
After some time programming in C# i want to go to the next level of
programming. I want to include a database with my applications, but i
am a litle confused about something. Must the client have ex: Access
installed, or can i accsess the file directly via ADO?

I have seen many posts of people with the same problem as me (attached
below), but I have yet to see any solutions posted. Has anyone figured
out how to deploy an Asp.net web site to the webserver in any place
other than the default website? I do not want to install it there as
our IIS has multiple websites, but nowhere is there an option when

I'm so fustrated! While my prefered approach is still to call a C DLL from
C# Web Service, I thought I would tran another approach while waiting for a
response.
I created a C++ service using Visual Studio 2003. I then hit CTRL-F5 and
verified the HelloWorld worked. I then looked all over Visual Studio 2003
and could not figure out how to deploy the beast. The C# Studio has the copy
project menu entry: not so for C++! Why not?

address to those in a text file. If a match or partial match is found, the
user is banned from accessing the php script, but if no match is found, the

Hi,
I create my Webservice in 2003 VS and test in Windows 2000 and Windows XP
Pro without any problem. When I deploy it over Windows 2003 server, It fails
to connect to the WS. I got Anonymous access check, and integerated Windows
authentication check.
My client, WinCE 4.2 device, still cannot access the web service. I got a
WebException return to WinCE.
The same setting is always work in Windows 2000/XP Pro.

Hi,
I have a problem related to Login System.
I am developing 3 websites for some institution.Now they want that if
anybody had sign up for there site1.com(say), than he or she should be
able to sign in for site2.com and site3.com.
hence, if user has sign up for the membership of site1.com than he/she
should automicallly become the member of site2.com and site3.com.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
