I have a datatable that I am binding to a C# ASP.NET 1.1 web page datagrid.
I also
want to put an "Edit" column on the datagrid. However, whenever I use the
following code, it puts the Edit column on the left. I cannot figure out
how to get it to the right, as there is no DataGridTableStyle for ASP as
there is for an application.
I am doing the following on page load: (where dgItem is my datagrid):

Maybe a stupid question, but how can you widen the last column of a
datagrid at runtime (i.e. with the mouse)? It won't let me.
The grid is wider than the form it is on, maybe the presence of a scrollbar
has an influence. With the scrollbar completely scrolled to the right, the
last column ends at the right hand end of the grid. Trying to resize it,
it won't let me move the mouse pointer to the right.

I'm following a sql/vb tutorial which contains the following code which
is meant to resize the datagrid view so that the columns take the
correct width for the content within them.
It doesn't work the syntax seems to be nonsense according to VS2005 so
can someone suggest what I need to replace it with?

I'm converting a DataGrid utility component that previously used the columns
array to function as it has in the past without using the columns array.
The reason for this is because it must process columns created at run time
which does not create entries in the columns array.....
