hi.
i have mult thread vb.net application.
it has 30 threads.
each thread serves 1 phone caller.
the question :
is there a reason , to create appdomain for each Phone Service ?
meaning 30 appdomains ?
or , the purpose for creating another appdomains, is diffrent ?

essentially a data file processor, the overall view is this:
A data file is read in, validated and stored in a memory structure
similar to a database or XML representation. Rules to modify the stored
data will be executed, then the data will be transformed into an output
format.
Think something similar to FormatA -> XML -> Manipulate XML -> FormatB

We have a static object (which as you well know is only static per
AppDomain), -I think I've just figured out the answer to my question, but

Hi,
If I want to implement a singleton using a class that has a static variable
containing the singleton object, can I guarantee that it will be a singleton
to my entire webapplication on a single webserver or may the webapplication
be loaded into several appdomains?
