Sending Email Function in OE 6 Malfunctioning

My system is XP Home Edition SP2. I don't know the version of OE 6 that I
have currently, but I receive automatic updates, the most recent OE 6 update
about a week ago. Tonight, I tried to send several file attachments with an
email that were scanned Word files that had been converted to Photoshop files
during the scanning process.. Once I realized that OE 6 only handles files,
not folders, I sent 35 file attachments. What's happened is that the email
is permanently stuck in the outbox, with the sending mail icon permanently on
display. I have done a full system scan with Windows Defender, and no harmful
software has been found. What can I do to fix the stuck email? When I go
into OE 6 now, the program runs very slowly. Earlier tonight when this
problem began, it was affecting every program on my computer, but after I ran
the scan, my computer returned to normal functioning, except for OE 6. Is it
time to call the Nerd Squad? Is this a hardware problem? Does my RAM have
anything to do with it? I currently have 512 MB RAM. Any thought-through
suggestions are welcomed.

Hi, I am sending a file from the server as an email attachment. The file is being attached no problem and sending the email, but I get an error when I try to open it saying it is corrupt. Obviuosly, the file is fine on the server, so the attachment code I am using must be corrupting it, but I dont know what it is: // send email with attachment function emailAttachment($to, $subject, $message, $name, $email,

Hi, I'm creating a site that posts orders to an email address when they're submitted, these orders need to be in the form of official invoices so i'm using HTML to format them. I already have a shopping basket system which adds all of the totals up and puts them into a nice looking invoice. What's the best way to take this HTML and put it into an email?

I want my users to send emails from a Windows app that I am developing in Visual Basic.NET 2003. I found a good example of sending email to a SMTP server using the SmtpMail class. However, using this, it seems, that the user must install IIS on their computer. Isn't there a class that will detect whatever mail server is available on a computer and use that? How do I create this functionality without having the user add any other...

I need to send order confirmation emails through my asp.net storefront. With my Asp 3.0 sites I use cdonts with no issues. I've researched the system.web.mail asp.net way and haven't got it to work. It boils down to the online smtp server declaration. I say a solution to active relay on the mail server but in the next sentence it said doing this may open your server up to spam relays. Not what I want to do. I've tried using cdonts...

But when I use it in a VB.Net Windows application, it always gave me an error: "Could not access 'CDO.Message' object." I am runing both Web and Windows App on same test PC, and SMTP server is hosted on another machine. The function for sending Email is:

Hello everyone: I've been working on making some changes to the website for the company that I am currently an intern for. There is a function that they have in one of their files that uses CDOSYS to allow visitors to our site to email us with a support request. I've been testing this functionality out, but the emails aren't actually being sent to our email addresses. I've looked all over the internet for how to send an email using ASP,...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
