I have some html code that is displayed on a wxHTMLwindow in a Python
application. One of the ahref links is to a pdf document. When I
click the link, I get what appears to be some sort of header material
for a pdf document, but Adobe Reader doesn't start. Is there a
special call I will have to use in the HTML code instead of ahref to
get Reader to launch?

After developing my entire applications around printing via the Crystal
Decisions engine in .net, I was shocked to find out that a report that
printed fine in Adobe 5.0 reader now prints garbled code in Adobe 6.0
reader. Has anyone else ran into this? I've tried the report on two
different HP laser printers and had similiar results.

Hi,
I'm having some problems with the Reponse.BinaryWrite, IE 6.0 and Adobe Reader 6.0. When I try to write a pdf-file to an IE browser with a Adobe Reader 6.0 installed then it just displays a blank page and the earth on the top rigth corner keeps turning like it haven't read the pdf-file (for 10+ minutes on a lan).
If I change the settings on the Adobe Reader 6.0 to not open in a browser, then it works fine.

We recently had to upgrade the computers in our company. Now our
office's website on our company intranet no longer recognizes reports
saved in snapshot format. We get an error message that the file we are
downloading "cannot be opened by the default program. It is either
corrupted or it has an incorrect file type." We had no problem until
our upgrade, but our IT department says there's no fix. My question is

I have been using ReporttoPDF for a year now without problems. I
added it to one clients code and it worked on some workstations and
not others. What I found is that Adobe Reader 8.0 did not work, but
7.0 Reader or 8.0 full version (creator) work fine. Has anyone else
had this problem?

I have a server 2008 IIS 7.0 with indexing service installed.
