How to compare two user accounts, with partial and fully qualified domain name

1 New Member
Hi,

I have two user accounts in the format:

<domain>\<alias >

and

<fully qualified domain name>\<alias>

In both the cases, <alias> is same. I want to check if both of these accounts are same or not. This is because, sometime user can just enter the first format and some times, the user can enter the domain name in long format.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
