update one file using merging on two files

1 New Member
Hi

i got this assignment, is there anybody who can help me??

Write a C# program that can update the balance of a list of bank accounts. The balances
are stored in a text file ”Balances.txt” with one account in each line.

The format of a line is: < account number > < balance >.
The file ”Balances.txt” is sorted ascending by account number.

The transactions to the bank accounts are stored in a text file ”Trans.txt” with one
transaction in each line.
The format of a line is: < account number > < amount >.

The file ”Trans.txt” is sorted ascending by account number.

The update is done by merging the two files

Yours faithfully
The student

For laptop users who have an ASP application running on their laptops - is there a way I can have it check when connected to the network (via the FSO lastmodifieddate) which files need to be updated (enhancements, etc.), then shoot the ASP pages that have changed down to the client?

The UPDATE table FROM syntax is not supported by Oracle. I am looking for a syntax that is understood by both Oracle and SqlServer. Example: Table1: id name city city_id 1 john newyork null

I want to be able to generate SQL statements that will go through a list of data, effectively row by row, enquire on the database if this exists in the selected table- If it exists, then the colums must be UPDATED, if not, they must be INSERTED. Logically then, I would like to SELECT * FROM <TABLE> WHERE ....<Values entered here>, and then IF FOUND UPDATE <TABLE> SET .... <Values entered here> ELSE INSERT INTO <TABLE> VALUES <Values...

i want to copy the functions from my source file into a new file...and convert each function into a new object file by compiling it. now, i want to invoke the function using the object file i have created and not by invoking the original function(i.e delete the part which has the function and then try to invoke the same function by including the object file into my source code). Is this possible?

I've been tasked with developing a document/file versioning system of sorts. Similar to a very scaled down source control system. We're integrating it very closely with an existing application so it must be 100% home grown. Similar to how many source code controls systems behave I'd like to only save only differences from the original in each of the versions and then reassemble those differences when the latest version is requested. I have...

Question / Statement - Every mdb table needs a PrimaryKey ( or maybe an index - i havnt tested the index yet ) so you can use an .UPDATE( dataTable ) on the data adapter. Otherwise you will get an exception error. Is this statement true? ---- Now me fumbling thru

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
