I am trying to dynamically build a dropdownlist and bind it to a cell in a
grid. I tried to utilize the following code but I am stuck at the point
where I bind the dropdownlist to the grid cell. I get the following message
for this code but I suspect that the "
UltraWebGrid1.Rows.Cells.Value = ddlGeography;" is not how you

Hi I have a data grid with a hyperlink column. the colum has numbers like
00001,000002, ect. Just wondering how to get the text value of the cell as
tempstring = datagrid.Items(rownumber).Cells.Item(column number).Text
returns a blank string. It seems to work ok for the other columns that are
just regular datagrid columns, not hyperlink types.

Hi,
I just cannot get this to work. I want to make a cell editable in a datagrid
only if the value of another cell is something specific.
I am able to capture the value of the other cell via the ItemDataBound event
of the datagrid e.g.

I have looked at the syncfusion datagridformattabletextboccolumn sample but I
have been unable to figure out how to base the special formatting on whether
the
datasource for the cell has a changed value.
Ideally I would like to bold text for a cell if the datarowstate of the
underlying
datarow is anything other than unchanged.
I know there must be a way but I haven't been able to do it.
Anybody know how to do this?

am working on code that will allow users to update data within the
datagrid. I have come across a few problems, some of them I have been
able to work out, but this last one is giving me trouble.
When a user clicks the edit button, I get an error 'Specified Cast Not
Valid'.
