I know that you can call the method of one from from inside another
form by doing something like this
Forms("MyForm").MyFunction(12, 34)
However, you have to know that MyForm has a function called
MyFunction. Can you specify a string for the function name like you
can with the form name? That is can I do something like
Forms("MyForm")."MyFunction"

HI--what I am trying to do is 2 things:
1. Open a form in either data entry mode or edit mode depending on
what task the user is performing
2. Cancel events tied to fields on the form if I am in edit mode.
The reason I want to do this is becasue when entering a new record the
form is entered in data entry mode and I have lots of stuff happening
upon entering and leaving fields. In edit mode I do not want the
events to fire.

I've established a TCP-Socket Connection and now I want to receive
datas. So I called BeginReceive where I set the receiving buffer and
length. Now in the asynchronous CallBack-Function I call EndReceive and
get the length of rceived datas. After receiving datas I call the
Beginreceive-Function again.
So my question is now what is if the send datas is greater than the
receiving buffer? Ok, I know, I will get it in the next...

I have public methods in a form. The main form calls them, to update
that form's display. This form is like a real-time view of data that
is changing.
But, the form may not exist (it is created / destroyed at user
request). I can check form != null to prevent incorrect access.
But, the form could disappear immediately after the check, before the
method is run. Or someone could click 'close' when it's in the middle
of an update. ...

Hi,
I have some generic module that handles exceptions. simply you call it like
this: "LogManager.ErrorMessage(ex)".
Worked great, until we now discovered that it isn't Thread-safe. What
actially happens is this: A Form is made, labels and buttons are made etc
with the exception-details, but when trying to show the Form
(MyExceptionForm.ShowDialog) we get an System.Security.SecurityException

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
