I'm creating HTML emails from a PHP site and sending them out to an email
list (just about 40 people so far are on this list). I've tested and
confirmed that these emails work in yahoo.com's webmail. And I know they
work on *my* Outlook Express. But I have one person (I know of) who gets the
emails as plain text, so she sees the HTML code for the email instead of its
proper representation. She has, like myself, OE6, and other html emails...

Hi,
I'm attempting to send emails for the first time using ASP.NET, so I'm
hoping there's just a beginner's error going on here for me. But my
emails aren't reaching their destination, and I don't know why.
My "development" machine is just my home machine. I'm connected to
the Internet via an AOL dialup connection.
I am running on XP Pro and my IIS server is (apparently) configured

I have been tearing my hair out (or indeed, what's left of it) all day
with this one. I'm not sure if it's a .NET issue, a server issue or
anything else and would appreciate any guidance.
Basically, I have a web app that sends emails. Very basic code, nothing
fancy, and I have had it working on about 5 machines! It's hardly worth
pasting, but here's the send method from my email class anyway. As you
can see, very basic:
public void...

Hi,
I'm using a asp.net 2.0 website to send out emails to users, the amount of
which can reach up to 1500 users. Obviously the code sending the emails has
to let the client know the mails are being sent out and display some kind of
progress indicator. How would you implement this?
Back in old asp 3.0 days I had a blank page where code did a
Response.Write(.."mail sent"...) for each mail sent, the layout had to be
simple because the page...

I have a framed website.
I plan to include in default.asp a routine to check if the annual
subscription is due from the records in the People table.
If so, then the routine would send emails to those who are due and update
the table that this had been done, so that it is only done once.
If session 1 is doing just this, session 2 (and 3 and n) could be doing the
same thing.

Hello,
I have a dilemma. I am trying to flag duplicate messages received off
of a com port. I have a software tool that is supposed to detect dup
messages and flag and write the text "DUP" on the GUI of the software
tool to let the user know that a duplicate message was sent or
received.
Here is the code:

I'm new to posting issues online, so bare with me...
Does anyone have any clues on this:
I have an application that is set to run as a service and it sends an
email if an error is encountered. The emailing part seems to work fine
- no errors, except that the emails don't get sent until the
application/service is exited. As soon as I quite the application, the
emails are sent and arrive in my inbox. I need the emails to be sent
without...

I'm trying to spam myself :-\ with 2,000 emails, shooting for 15,000,
and I will occasionally get two identical emails. I'm putting a
$counter++ as the from and part of the subject line so I can see
what's going on. Any reason why this might happen? here's my code just
in case.
$counter=1;
function send_mail($emailaddress, $fromaddress, $emailsubject, $body,

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
