C# - Form APP. Question about Microsoft Word Contaxt menu for a spell check operation

3 New Member
Hi
I want to do something with microsoft Word spell check and I wanted to know if it's possible.
I have a TextBox and I want to check the word in the textbox with the help of Word spellcheck.
I have two problems:
I want to be able to right on a word and get the contaxt menu with the suggestions.
according to this article:

Article Link

I only have the dialog with the spell suggestions.

2) After I chekced the word and the dialoge window was opened according to the above link, I clicked on a suggestion to change the word but the word in my textbox didn't changed and a Word doc was opened with the word.
Can I avoid that so only the word in my textbox will be changed?

thanks in advance

I want to use the MS Word spell checker from my Python program. I check the spelling a word at a time. It works fine for English but I can not force it to use French when I am using that language. The French spell checking works find when done directly in the Word window. I have the automatic language detection turned off, the language set to French, and keyboard set to French

Hi, I am working on a genealogy form. The only table (so far) lists everybody in the family, one record per person. Each record has an autonum ID. The parent form (frmMainForm) displays the data in each record, which includes the ID of the father and the mother (who also have records in the table). One record per form. I have a Tab Control in the form, and in one of the tabs I have a subform (sfmSiblings) in which I wish to list...

I can embed MS Word in my Windows form (either in the WebBrowser or in the DsoFrame ActiveX), I can show/hide toolbars with the ExecWB statement but I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT show Word's menu bar! The following property is true (!): oDocument.Application.CommandBars.Visible; Moreover, even if the menu bar doesn't show up when Word is embedded, if I try and float it with this code

I would appreciate if some one can help me out. We are using Microsoft Word's spell check functionality in one of our web pages based on the requirement. We are using Microsoft PIA assemblies to interact with Word. The problem is we can not install Word on Web Server. I woud prefer not to go to any other third party components. Would it be really possible to make use of spell check functionality without having Microsoft Word on the...

Sometimes before clicking "Post" I copy my message, open Word and paste. Word is excellent, and can suggest synonyms and translations. But it takes a while for Word to open. Recently, I've been running Outlook 2007 minimized; it opens quickly and gives me the same facility as Word when I paste into a new Mail Message, but considerably faster. Sometimes I forget to do either. My spelling and grammar skills and knowledge are good but my...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
