We have a .NET 1.1 client which is sending a gzipped soap request using
HttpWebRequest to an Apache server. The Apache server is using a the
'mod_deflate' server to decompress the incoming message, and to also compress
the response (GZIP).
The mod_deflate filter requires the 'Content-Length' header contained within
the incoming request to specify the number of UNCOMPRESSED bytes being sent
and not the actual bytes of the body of the...

Hi all,
I have recently set up a Drupal website. I am a beginner. My shared
host server does not allow nobody@localhost to send emails, and
prevents access to php.ini, so I spent some time getting a SMTP script
running. While the Drupal feedback module and the new account creation
works fine in terms of sending of mails, I am having some problems with
the sending of password reminder emails.

Hello,
I am developing a BHO that should add a custom HTTP header on a
specific domain only. Don't want the header globally, otherwise I
could just add a registry key.
So, on BEFORENAVIGATE2, I am canceling the current navigation and
renavigating with the new custom header using Navigate2. This usually
works fine, but in some cases (particularly when selecting a link that
starts a new window), the Navigate2 call fails.

Hello-
I'm working on a simple script that does something like:
header('Content-type: text/directory');
echo "BEGIN:VCARD\r\n";
However, PHP appears to send some additional whitespace after the
headers are sent (after the 200 OK message). I noticed this behavior
also occurs when no custom headers are sent. The problem here is the
some vCard readers will fail if the file begins with whitespace, so how
can I disable this extra whitespace...

Just so this is out there on the web, I battled the past 24 hours
about this. Background info... I developed a ecommerce website in PHP
4 on a shared linux hosting plan from GoDaddy and had the html
formatted emails sending as text/html and were going fine with limited
header information. Then we moved the site over to a Dedicated Linux
hosting plan. This time, it's PHP 5. Things are bound to not work as
expected moving to a new...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
