Hi I've got a TextBox on my WebForm with it's AutoPostback set to true, and an event handler created for the TextChanged event. I would expect this event to be fired when the user types any character into the textbox. However, the event is only firing when the users enters text and THEN moves to another control on the page.

I have a simple question, I have a datagrid and inside the grid, i have List box. I am able to render the page with the datagrid and the lisbox values. Now, my question is how to trap the server side SelectedIndexChanged event of the listbox. Any help in VB.NET would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Inside my .aspx file, I have a textbox populated with data from a dataset like this: <asp:TextBox text='<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Comment")%>' id="CommentText" runat="server" TextMode="MultiLine"></asp:TextBox> </ItemTemplate> </asp:datalist> <asp:button id="EditCommentButton" Text="Edit Comment" Runat="server"></asp:button

I have a datagrid with a checkbox and dropdown list in each row. Both set AutoPostBack to true and ItemCommand and OnSelectedIndexChanged events for these controls works fine when DataGrid is not paged. As soon as I turn on paging support, I no longer get events properly for any page except the first. 1) The DataGrid displays the page numbers on the top (and bottom). Whenever I click to go to a specific page number, the DropDownList's...

I am trying to use AutoPostback to retrieve the value that was selected in my dropdownlist. The event is not firing for the dropdownlist because the datagrid is being built after the Lifecycle of the Firing Events. So in order to capture my selected value I need to capture it in the OnInit when the autopostback fires, but I don't know how I can do this. Since the Page Lifecycle fires events before my datagrid gets built then I can...

I have my <asp:TextBox> inside one of DataGrid's columns. I haven't set AutoPostBack=True. When I hit the ENTER button, my page "refreshes" (I belive that PostBack was performed - however not sure). I don't want anything to happen when ENTER is being pressed. The other option is that button event might execute (button next to my asp:TextBox). How can I do this?

Hello all: Clearly, I'm not getting it! Here is the scenario: On a web page, I have two list boxen and a text box. The first listbox is populated at page load time (if it is not a postback). This listbox has AutoPostback = True. When the user selects an item from this list, the second listbox is populated with more items relevant to this selection. I am using an SQLDataSource web control for this. These items are headers. I want, when...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
