Proble after starting a process then closing it to return to form

I have a 2.0 .NET windows application, in this application I start an
external win32 Process the wait for it to finish. When I close the
external process my main application form goes to the back of all
windows therefore bringing other windows to the front. I was expecting
my application to be behind the external application.

Anyone know what might be happening?

Hi everyone, I have written a function that runs functions in separate processes. I hope you can help me improving it, and I would like to submit it to the Python cookbook if its quality is good enough. I was writing a numerical program (using numpy) which uses huge amounts of memory, the memory increasing with time. The program...

I'm new to C#. I am using the following C# method to populate a TreeView control. If you call this method once during the life of form then it works perfectly. If you call the method a second time (without closing and reloading the app) then the process list populates the TreeView control with varying degrees of success. Sometimes the...

I am (still) relatively new to Windows applications, most of my experience has been Web based, and I am confused about what exactly happens when the Main() method is called and how to manipulate forms opening & closing. An example of this issue is as follows. I have a logon form open as the first thing. The main functional form opens when a...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
