Passing On PageUp PageDown Keystrokes from a Datagrid

I have a datagrid on a tabcontrol and want PageUp and PageDown to change tabs
on the tabcontrol but when on the datagrid the keystrokes get captured by the
datagrid. I've created my own datagrid object from the base object in order
to override ProcessCmdKey and am able to capture the keystroke however my
problem is how to pass that onto the tabcontrol or form.

I do this in many places (forms) and therefore need a solution that allows
the datagrid to be generic as opposed to explicitly changing the tab within
the custom datagrid.

I want a datagrid object that will not intercept PageUp or PageDown keystrokes so that instead the tabcontrol it's on can pick it them up and change TabPages. Any idea how to create a new version of the datagrid that will do this?

I'm a rookie at C# and OO so please don't laugh! I have a form (fclsTaxCalculator) that contains a text box (tboxZipCode) containing a zip code. The user can enter a zip code in the text box and click a button to determine whether the zip code is unique. If the zip code is not unique, another form/dialog is displayed (fclsLookup) - lookup form/dialog. The zip code is passed to the lookup form/dialog by reference. I then load a...

I want to use F6,F7,etc for an entire form. Have key preview to true and it works everywhere but on the grid. On the grid sometimes it works and sometimes not. Appears that if I am in a cell and press one of them it won't work. Any ideas? Shane

Hi, I have a textbox and a listbox and I handle keydown events in the textbox. I'd like to pass page up/down events to the listbox if the focus is on the textbox, so that the default handler of the listbox handles them. That is I want to be able to scroll the listbox from the keyboard even if current keyboard focus is on the textbox. How can I do that?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
